[Travel] Joyeux Noel!

Je suis en vacances de Noel a Montreal chez David et Anne, on s'est fait bien a manger; on a visite le Mont Royal sous la neige, je m'amuse bien!
Colorful Houses in Montreal Rainbow House Rainbow house in Montreal I visited the "Village", the equivalent of the rainbow street in San Francisco, where the gay comunity gathers: the banks, subway stations, and all shops exhibit the color of the rainbow, and even the houses, I like it very much. Anne told me that she went with David to a "Drag-Queen" show there which was very good and with a very good ambiance: something to organize for my next visit! litle Snow man Playing the flute on Stilts in the Subway New Socks!!! It snowed a few days after Christmas, we went with some friends to the "Mont Royal", it was beautiful in the snow! There are people in each subway station playing music, and even a guy on stilts playing the flute... I bought socks like my jacket, my gloves, my hat and my scarf: I miss only the pants I think :)) Plus de photos (des portraits que j'aime bien, en particulier), et pour finir une affiche enigmatique, que l'on n'a pas vraiment compris: Un message incomprehensible? (et un post bilingue, un!)
Edit du 14 Janvier: La reponse a la photo mystere dans un article en anglais et dans un autre en francais. Il suffisait de chercher sur Google!

[Recipe] Roses des Sables

For the nice girl who asked, the recipe for "Roses des Sables":
Ingredients:
150g Corn Flakes
200g Butter
250g Dark Chocolate
100g to 200g of icing sugar.
Tools:
Two pots fitting in each other (for Bain Marie)
A spatula (for using all the chocolate)
some big flat plate (apple pie mold is perfect)

Melt the Butter and Dark Chocolate in "Bain Marie", or any way which does not burn the chocolate. Add the sugar to the cornflakes and pour the mix of butter and chocolate. Mix it well so that all is dark. Let it get semi solid, then spoon the chocolated cord flakes into small heaps on a large flat plate. Let it cool 1h in the fridge, and put them in a nice metallic box.
Bon appetit!
