[SHHHIT] Santiago House Harrier Invitational Trail, Day 1

This weekend, the Hash Harriers of Santiago (SHHH = Santiago Hash Harrier House) with whom I have been running for one year or so are celebrating their 200th event. I was a member of the (mis)manadgement committee, and I will be taking pictures and report on the event.

Friday night we had the opening event at Las Delicias de Quirihue (Domeyko 2059), a very good restaurant managed by a very good friend, Don Claudio. A good third of the attendants could not come because of a march downtown to protest against the collusion between the government and fisheries in the south (see here for a good summary, albeit in Spanish), which ended in violence and tear gaz, and everybody was late (appropriately for the hash), but we still had good fun.

I took some good portraits,

some group pictures at the table,

and during the drinking games.

It seems that people were so drunk that their nose became comic-book red,

and some other body parts as well! ;)

[Red Noses] Because we like them

Yesterday, while hurrying to meet some friends at the restaurant opening of some other friends because I was almost 1h late (I got lost!), I passed in front of a shop where two mannequins were displaying a red nose. Late or not, I did take the time to take a picture:

A woman whom I assume is the tenant was leaving and locking the shop, I asked her for which occasion did they put red noses on the mannequins, and her answer was perfect: "Because we like it!" :)

Let this be a pandemia!
